My New Obsession: Dermaplaning

You’re all probably sick of hearing about it. You’ve seen me post nearly a million times on social media about it. So if you’re tired of it, feel free to stop reading.

I’ve been curious about dermaplaning since I heard renowned makeup artist Lisa Eldridge talk about it a couple of years ago. I never tried it because a dermaplaning session at a salon costs over $100. (Don’t panic, it’s only $35 from me!)

But then I got to learn how to do it (and have it done on myself). And I fell in love.

You can read more about dermaplaning here, but the gist is that the esthetician will use a scalpel to gently exfoliate the skin on your face with smooth scraping motions. This also removes any of that peach fuzz on your face. The results? Impossibly smooth skin, and the best makeup application you’ve ever had.

I would suggest anyone who will be attending an event with photography get this done a couple of days prior to having their makeup done (eg. brides, bridesmaids, teens before senior pictures, models, etc.)

Pictures and video of dermaplaning service will be coming soon, so keep an eye out for those!

In the meantime, if you are curious, feel free to contact me or, better yet, to schedule your appointment today! You are just an hour away from the smoothest, softest skin you’ve ever had.

My goal is to see one facial client a week, and one dermaplaning client a week. Want to help me out? Call The White Magnolia at 970-484-1740 to schedule!

All the best,
Kyanne
