Microcurrent

In a nutshell, microcurrent is Pilates for your facial muscles, also known as the lunchtime facelift.

Microcurrent devices stimulate motor nerves and contract the muscles, effectively toning the muscles of the face. Outside of the spa, microcurrent therapy is also used in modern medicine to treat Bell’s palsy and stroke paralysis.

In addition to toning the muscles, microcurrent can assist in product absorption, blood and lymph circulation, and improving cell metabolism and turnover.

Results from microcurrent are most noticeable after multiple sessions – I suggest getting microcurrent sessions twice a week for 6 weeks, then tapering down to twice a month and eventually once a month for maintenance. Longevity of results varies person to person.

Microcurrent is not a good option for those with a pacemaker, epilepsy, cancer, phlebitis, thrombosis, or are pregnant.
